Seamus Bruno
Newton, MA
Meet Seamus, a Co-Director of Kids Night Out Nantucket. With a background in water safety, coaching, and child mentorship, Seamus brings a wealth of experience. Seamus is currently a
co-director of Murray Camp, and recently completed his M.Ed. in teaching. He has since began a full time position teaching at Watertown Middle School with a focus on special education. He is passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for kids. Seamus's leadership extends broadly, drawing on his experience as a youth coach and educator to inspire and guide. At Kids Night Out, he's committed to ensuring every child enjoys a memorable and enriching experience.
Liam Bruno
Nantucket, MA
Meet Liam, a Co-Director and key member of Kids Night Out Nantucket. Having grown up attending Kids Night Out and Murray Camp, Liam deeply understands the value of our community. With a background in business and sports leadership, he’s adept at fostering teamwork and engagement among our young attendees. As the founder of ACK Eats (now Order.com), a licensed Real Estate Agent and the GM of NantucketRentals.com, Liam applies his entrepreneurial skills to enhance our Kids Night Out operations, creating a seamless experience for families and staff alike. Liam is also the Assistant Coach of the Men's Varsity Basketball Team at Nantucket High School. Liam’s unique blend of local knowledge, business acumen, and dedication to youth development ensures a supportive, fun-filled environment at Kids Night Out.
Nancy Kacupaj
Nantucket, MA
Meet Nancy, a Co-Director of Kids Night Out Nantucket. Nancy's experience with Murray Camp has been overseeing all of the Minnow groups (ages 4-5).
She loves working with children and has gained valuable experience whether it's working at Murray Camp, Nantucket Public Schools, or being involved in various organizations such as HeadStart, Cradles to Crayons, Operation Warm as well as working with children with disabilities through the Vinfen Organization.
Nancy also serves as the Operational Manager at the Community Foundation for Nantucket where she works to support local organizations especially those in childcare.
Nancy is thrilled to bring her enthusiasm, expertise, and love for children to the team, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for children on Nantucket.
Isabella Van Manen
Denver, CO
Meet Izzy, a counselor at Kids Night Out Nantucket. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Izzy is an upcoming junior at the University of San Diego, where she is studying Psychology and Real Estate with a minor in English.
After visiting Nantucket for the first time last summer, she quickly fell in love with the island and is excited to spend her summer working with campers and families at Kids Night Out. Izzy brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, sailing, creating arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors. Izzy is looking forward to helping create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for every child this summer.
Hermon Mulugeta
Fruit Heights, UT
Meet Harry, a counselor at Kids Night Out Nantucket. Originally from Fruit Heights, Utah, Harry is an incoming junior at the University of Utah and is excited to spend her summer working with campers and families on Nantucket.
Harry has always enjoyed working with children and brings valuable experience through her role as an elementary after-school teacher, a position she has held since her junior year of high school. Growing up with two younger brothers, she developed a natural love for mentoring, teaching, and creating positive experiences for kids of all ages.
Harry is looking forward to helping campers build friendships, gain confidence, and make lasting summer memories. Her enthusiasm, patience, and passion for working with children make her a wonderful addition to the Kids Night Out team, and she is excited to make this an unforgettable summer for every camper.
